Saturday Afternoon, THD Fireside Lounge was the venue of this year 2026, Harvest TEA Gathering. This was my 3rd year attending this event where majority of My Fellow Women Residents display their hats and dressed up for the occasion. There were a lot of cookies but no cucumber sandwiches, However, to me the highlight of the event was not the goodies but the beautiful mellow music from the cello, playing some of my favorite tunes, such as Yesterday, Moon River and Fly Me to the Moon. The music presentation ended with the rendition of Ave Maria. The cello music was deep, warm, and rich and sounds very much like a human singing and a few of us sang along with it.
