The Great Barrier Reef is the largest living structure on Earth! 



Stretching over 2,300 kilometers (1,430 miles) along the coast of Queensland, Australia, it’s so massive it can be seen from space!

Home to over 1,500 species of fish, 400 types of coral, and thousands of other marine creatures, it’s one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on the planet.



Sadly, the reef is under threat from climate change, coral bleaching, and pollution, but conservation efforts are underway to preserve this underwater wonder for generations to come.
