Drink Where The Horses Drink-Part 1

From My Readings this Week
1. Drink where the horses drink, they never choose bad water.

2. Sleep where the cat sleeps, it seeks calm and comfort.

3. Eat the fruit that a worm has touched but not penetrated, it always finds the ripest fruit.

4. Plant your tree where the mole digs, the soil there is fertile.

5. Build your house where the snake basks in the sun, that ground is stable and will not collapse.

6.Dig for water where birds seek shade from the heat, where they rest, water is near.

7. Rise and sleep with the birds, that is the path to success.

8. Eat more vegetables, and you will have strong legs and a resilient heart, like the animals of the wild.

9. Swim whenever you can, and you will feel as natural in water as fish do.

10. Gaze at the sky often, and your thoughts will become bright and clear.

11. Remain calm and silent, and peace will fill your heart, bringing tranquility to your soul.

Meanwhile, Did you know that......
In 1994, Bill Gates made a purchase that surprised even the art world. He paid $30.8 million for the Codex Leicester — a rare manuscript written by none other than Leonardo da Vinci.
It was the only Da Vinci journal still in private hands — a 72-page notebook filled with stunning sketches and scientific thoughts, written in mirror-script over 500 years ago. Da Vinci wrote about the movement of water, the glow of the moon, the origin of fossils — his genius spilling onto every page in a mix of beauty and curiosity.
But instead of locking the treasure away in a vault, Gates had something else in mind.
He had the entire manuscript scanned in ultra-high resolution, and in 1997, it became part of the Microsoft Plus! software package for Windows. Suddenly, people everywhere could see Da Vinci’s brilliant sketches on their computer screen — as a wallpaper, a screensaver, or simply a digital wonder to explore.
It was a quiet, beautiful moment in history: when a Renaissance master met the digital age.
Gates said it best: “The Codex is not only a beautiful collection of ideas, but also a reminder that learning is endless.” By bringing Da Vinci’s mind into the homes of millions, he helped us all glimpse the mind of one of the greatest thinkers in history.

Finally, Did you know That.....
Tea isn’t originally from India! For centuries, China had a global monopoly on tea. But in the 1800s, the British smuggled tea plants and seeds out of China — basically industrial espionage — and forced Indian farmers to grow them under harsh colonial labor systems.
The British East India Company turned vast regions like Assam and Darjeeling into tea plantations, using exploited workers to fuel a global tea market. What many enjoy today as a soothing drink has a bitter colonial history.
