Sleeping is Metabolism Secret Key

Science has confirmed what many have long suspected sleep is not just rest, it’s metabolism’s secret key. Sleeping on your left side provides remarkable benefits for the body, primarily by enhancing lymphatic drainage. The lymphatic system drains predominantly to the left side, where lymph flows through the thoracic duct into the heart. By sleeping on this side, gravity helps move lymph more efficiently, supporting lymph node function and promoting immune defense against infections and disease.
