The sale of the Joya was electrifying, with multiple in-person, online, and phone bids convincingly showcasing the setting of a real auction, pushing the price upwards by over 400% from its presale estimate.

Moreover, a new auction standard was set for Fernando Zóbel’s ‘Erenos’ from his ‘Saeta’ series, achieving ₱𝟮𝟴,𝟬𝟯𝟮,𝟬𝟬𝟬.

Una Bulaqueña, the iconic painting by Filipino master Juan Luna, is now on display at the Louvre Abu Dhabi—marking the first-ever collaboration between the UAE museum and the National Museum of the Philippines.

The rare loan offers a glimpse into Filipino identity and pride, and will be exhibited until June 2026.
