Saturday Talk in Connection with Filipino-American History Month Celebration Here at THD

My talk this morning (Saturday, Oct 14),  I believe was an educational success based on comments from my audience after my talk. The Lumpia Shanghai served during the talk authenticated my description that Filipino Food is indeed a Gastronomic delight.  My talk was advertised well in advance. As a result the Cinema was full with one or two standing at the back ( Jenny and Dinah).

Happy Hour Photo on Friday- I was Advertising the 3 Days Celebration of Filipino-History Month Here at THD with Dinner, Talk and Movies for Thursday and Saturday Night at our Cinema

Here's the introduction of my talk this morning delivered by Joseph Woo. Thank you Joseph for the slides. It added visual clarity during my talk.

Here are some photos during the talk-Photo Credits,Jenny Shively. Thanks, Jenny for these photos.

I decided to wear my lime green Barong instead of the Classic/traditonal/formal white barong, because I want the atmosphere during talk to be very informal and this was a success.

Here are some more photos taken by Dinah during my talk, Dinah these photos really capture the various moods and atmosphere during my talk. Thanks for coming and helped served the Shanghai Lumpia also. In this photo series is the butterfly sleeves worn by my grand daughter Alix Katague Quinn. There were several questions regarding the butterfly sleeves during my talk. Thus a picture is worth more than thousand words-here's the photo of the butterfly sleeve.

You are commendable for being servile in promoting your beloved homeland. Your captive audience learned much from your presentation.
